At the heart of the impressive rock massif, we'll embark on several fascinating hiking routes. The highlight of our journey is the excursion to Roca Foradada de Montserrat—a massive hole in the rock offering awe-inspiring vistas.
Montserrat's allure is so powerful that visitors invariably dream of returning. It's a hiker's paradise near Barcelona. The star attraction, Roca Foradada, is a triangular aperture soaring 10 meters high and spanning about 6 meters wide, visible from afar. It presents breathtaking panoramic views that will leave you spellbound.
Legend has it that the Devil himself carved this unusual triangular shape while fleeing from the Virgin of Montserrat, desperately trying to create an escape route to hell. Nearby stands "La Cadireta"—a majestic rock formation resembling a chair, a cat's head, or even a dinosaur, depending on your perspective. This rock perfectly complements Roca Foradada, sculpting a unique landscape. Despite its mystical folklore, this authentic and impressive site on Montserrat Mountain has become a beloved destination for family excursions.
