❗ATTENTION: There are dizzying sections and easy equipped crossings. 🧗
We're embarking on an exciting journey through the Catalan Coastal Mountains to explore the amazing Cadiretes massif (also known as the Ardenya massif). This is a unique mountain system characterized by its oval shapes and picturesque ridges, surrounded by dense, green oak forests, creating an atmosphere of a true natural paradise. Our adventure will culminate at the summit of Mount Montclar. Despite its relatively low height of 401 meters, this mountain holds an honorable place among the 100 peaks of special interest to the Federation of Hiking Organizations of Catalonia (FEEC). The reason for such recognition lies in the breathtaking panoramas that open up from its summit. From here, you can enjoy extensive views of the azure Mediterranean Sea and picturesque coastal towns: Santa Cristina d'Aro with its historic center, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, known for its beaches and ancient monastery, and the popular resort of Platja d'Aro. As we walk through this majestic granite temple of nature, various adventures and challenges await us. The route is abundant with all kinds of equipped sections that will add an element of exciting challenge to our journey. We'll encounter sturdy chains helping to overcome steep slopes, reliable ropes for safety on difficult sections, and, most impressively, even a real Tibetan bridge! These elements will not only ensure the safety of our path but also provide unforgettable sensations, allowing us to fully feel like true explorers of the wild.
