We're in for an incredible journey along the scenic trails of Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, one of the most beautiful corners of Catalonia. This route promises to be a real treat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Our exciting journey will begin with an ascent along the Torrent del Faig, following the classic Els Empedrats route. This section of the path is abundant with "waterfalls" - picturesque natural pools, and delightful cascades that create a unique atmosphere. We'll walk through dense forest, surrounded by lush vegetation, where the green colors of summer give way to the vibrant hues of autumn, creating a truly magical picture.
Leaving the babbling stream behind, we'll continue our way upwards, reaching the cozy mountain refuge of Sant Jordi. From here, our route will follow the PR (Pequeño Recorrido - short route), passing by the refreshing Font del Faig spring. The final goal of our ascent will be the majestic peak of Cap de la Boixassa, rising 1820 meters above sea level - the highest point of our route.
