What's the plan?

Meadows and trees have donned their exquisite green attire, as if preparing for a grand natural ball. Life-giving rains once again fill the streams, turning them into resonant strings in nature's symphony. Birds, seized by creative inspiration, perform their melodies in irrepressible ecstasy. The air is filled with the aromas of blooming plants, and each breath awakens a sense of bubbling vitality that permeates everything around.

We're embarking on an exciting journey through Bisaura — a unique sub-region at the junction of Ripollès, Osona, and La Garrotxa. This amazing place, where past and present intertwine in an intricate pattern, promises an excursion full of discoveries and unforgettable impressions. Our goal is to conquer the majestic peak of Castell de Milany (1529m, one of the 100 most important peaks in the region), climbing it from the southern side. This natural observation deck, if the weather is favorable, will offer breathtaking panoramic views in all directions.

On our way to the summit, we'll traverse diverse landscapes, each unique and beautiful. We'll make our way through majestic beech forests, where tree crowns create a green dome overhead; walk through picturesque pine groves filled with the aroma of needles; explore shady oak groves harboring centuries-old wisdom; and cross flowering meadows speckled with wildflowers. Our path will pass by mysterious "baumes" — natural rock shelters that have served as refuges for travelers and shepherds for centuries. We'll climb steep cliffs, challenging our determination and agility. Finally, we'll peer into an intriguing entrance to the underground world — a mysterious cave that will test our courage and thirst for adventure.

Bisaura is not just a geographical point on the map; it's a treasure trove of history and natural wonders. It's ready to reveal forgotten forms of life that existed here centuries ago. Ancient stones and age-old trees will whisper their legends to us, passed down through generations. Winding trails will lead us through the region's most picturesque corners, revealing breathtaking panoramas at every turn. We'll encounter monumental trees along our way — silent witnesses of history, whose mighty trunks and sprawling crowns evoke awe and admiration.

If your heart yearns for these impressions, if you're ready for a long and intense walk spanning 20 kilometers through diverse terrain, if you want to challenge yourself and enjoy nature's beauty in all its diversity — you know what to do. Join our hike, and Bisaura will reveal its most intimate secrets to you, gifting unforgettable impressions and memories for a lifetime.
