🏔️ Conquering the Pedraforca summit is a symbolic ascent of one of Catalonia's most famous mountains, standing at 2,506 m. The mountain has a unique shape: it consists of two parallel ridges (pollegons) connected by an isthmus (Enforcadura). The upper ridge, Pollegó Superior, reaches a height of 2,506.4 m,[3] while the second peak, el Calderer, is 2,496.7 m. The lower ridge, Pollegó Inferior, stands at 2,444.8 m, and the Enforcadura reaches 2,356.2 m with scree slopes on both sides.
🧙🏼♀️ Pedraforca is shrouded in legends and considered a magical mountain. One popular tale says that on Saint Sylvester's night (December 31), witches gather on Pedraforca, dancing around a bonfire at the mountain's peak.
